The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice. The website includes a wide range of related topics, professional practice guidance tools, and resources.

Navigating through the maze of autism-related information and resources can be overwhelming. Clearbrook makes the process more comfortable by discussing options with family members as well as professionals. The Family and Community Autism Resource Specialist provides information and resources to the community. Some included information regarding programs, services, and supports available, including support groups, autism organizations, community resources, professional information, training, and community events.
Clearbrook’s various respite programs offer an array of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These services are designed to help maintain individuals with developmental disabilities in the individual/family home by providing short-term relief to primary caregivers.
CLAS is an archived site, as funding has ended. While the information shared is relevant and useful it is not being updated. The CLAS Institute identified, collected, reviewed, cataloged, and described materials and practices developed for children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and professionals who work with them. CLAS created a resource bank and catalog of validated, culturally and linguistically appropriate materials, and of documented effective strategies, for early intervention and preschool services. CHS Youth Connections Program is a statewide advisory committee of parents and professionals ensuring that children who are Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing and their families connect with the necessary resources, advocacy, information, services, and support within the home, school, and community.

CHADD is a nationally recognized non-profit organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. The website provides information on understanding ADHD for families, educators and professionals, numerous publications including weekly articles, newsletter, magazine, blog and podcasts, resources, tool kits, events, and local groups.
