Illinois Hands & Voices
This parent-driven, non-profit organization supports families with children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to learn about the variety of resources and options available to them and how to access them. Their Guide By Your Side (GBYS) program provides unbiased information, one on one support and resources, and trained Parent Guides to meet with families. Information is also available in Spanish.
Illinois Life Span (ILS)
A program of The Arc of Illinois, ILS is a free information and referral service for people with disabilities in Illinois to locate services, supports, legislative advocacy information, and links local, state and national organizations that provide helpful information.
Illinois PUNS – Division of Developmental Disabilities
PUNS is a database that registers individuals who want or need Developmental Disability Waiver services (i.e. Community Integrated Living Arrangements, Home Based Supports, Child Group Homes) funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Developmental Disabilities. As funding is available, individuals are selected from PUNS and invited to apply for DD Waiver services. The PUNS categories, criteria, forms and instructions for completing the form have recently been revised and now reflect a more streamlined approach to the process. These changes were necessary to reduce confusion, increase transparency, and make the selection process more predictable for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC)
A not-for-profit organization of caregivers and respite providers dedicated to advocating support for families by ensuring access to quality respite services for the residents of Illinois.

Illinois State Board of Education-Early Childhood Transition Resources
SPP Indicator 12: A compliance indicator that measures the percentage of children referred by Part C prior to age 3, who are found eligible for Part B, and who have an IEP developed and implemented by their third birthdays.
Goal
The goal of Indicator 12 is to ensure seamless transitions for children and families as they move from IDEA Part C to IDEA Part B so they can access appropriate services by their third birthdays.
International Rett Syndrome Association
Works empower families, by providing families of individuals living with Rett syndrome connections to critical and useful information, programs, services, and support from diagnosis to day-to-day life. Rettsyndrome.org also coordinates, cultivates, accelerates, and funds research that will produce a cure for Rett syndrome and reveal and develop treatments. Also in Spanish
