In addition to STAR NET Region II and VI’s financial assistance program for attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, other organizations offer funding opportunities through scholarships and stipends. You can apply online, or by submitting your application via mail.

Provides funding for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to access assistive technology that supports:

Gateways to Opportunity – Early Education Scholarship Program
Offers scholarships to individuals pursuing college credit, credentials, or degrees in:
- Early Childhood Education
- Child Development
Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) – Loan Program
Provides low-interest loans for individuals with disabilities, their families, guardians, advocates, or authorized representatives to purchase assistive technology that supports:
- Daily Living
- Independence
