Description
Effective tiered instruction within a Pre-K MTSS framework ensures that all young children receive responsive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate support to promote academic and social-emotional growth. This session will focus on how educators can design and implement high-quality instruction and intervention across Tiers 1, 2, and 3, with particular attention to academic learning within early childhood settings. Participants will explore strategies and resources that can be used for enriching and differentiating core instruction, delivering targeted and intensive interventions, and implementing developmentally appropriate instructional and intervention practices within each tier. Throughout the session, participants will consider how tiered supports can be designed to meet the strengths and needs of diverse learners. The session will also highlight meaningful ways families can support children’s learning and development across tiers of instruction.
