This session helps parents and caregivers understand how evaluation results connect to their child’s IEP goals, services, and everyday learning. We will explore how an IEP describes where your child is currently performing, how that information can be used to identify individual strengths and needs, and how meaningful, measurable goals are developed.
Parents will also learn how schools collect and use data to track progress, determine whether strategies and supports are working, and make informed decisions about next steps. The goal of this session is to help families feel more informed and prepared to participate as valued members of their child’s IEP team.
