Webinar 7:00PM – 8:30PM

Training for parents in the “Goldilocks Zone” of exposure therapy for Selective Mutism is about learning how to support your child in a way that feels safe, manageable, and encouraging. As a parent, you learn how to recognize when something is too hard (and causing shutdown) or too easy (and not helping growth), and how to gently adjust so it feels “just right.” This includes breaking communication into small, achievable steps, offering support without pressure, and celebrating even the smallest wins. The focus is on helping your child feel successful and understood, while slowly building their confidence to use their voice—one safe, supported step at a time.
Presenter Katelyn Reed, M.S.
Learner objectives Participants will be able to:
Identify 2-3 “just right” goals for now
Identify 2-3 goals on the periphery
