Description
Does your district’s Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) data accurately reflect the quality of your program and the growth of your preschool age students with IEPs? Are you an administrator or program leader responsible for implementing ECO ratings? If so, this training opportunity—sponsored by the ISBE Early Childhood Division, Illinois STAR NET, and Early CHOICES—is designed to strengthen your skills and support your team in generating accurate ECO ratings.
This session provides an in-depth understanding of the Illinois Early Childhood Outcomes system. Participants will learn how to determine outcomes ratings for preschoolers with IEPs, understand federal and state requirements, and examine the seven most important takeaways related to Early Childhood Outcomes. You will identify high-quality training resources for your staff, hear from a district that has successfully implemented best practices in ECO procedures, and develop an actionable plan for improving rating accuracy within your own program.
While not mandatory, ISBE strongly recommends at least one administrator from every district attend this training.
Presenter
Kritsy Doan, Nancy Kind
