November 10 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Location Online – at your computer
Time 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Registration 3:45 PM – 4:00 PM
Description
Sustaining effective MTSS implementation in Pre-K requires intentional systems, collaborative structures, and ongoing professional learning. This session will focus on how programs, centers, and districts can create sustainable infrastructure to support long-term implementation and continuous improvement. Participants will explore strategies for using implementation monitoring, ongoing evaluation, and continuous improvement processes to refine practices over time, develop professional learning plans that build staff capacity, and establish systems for onboarding new team members and maintaining implementation records. The session will also examine meeting structures, team protocols, scheduling practices, and collaborative problem-solving processes that support effective MTSS implementation. Throughout the session, participants will consider how to set realistic expectations and create manageable, sustainable plans for growth within early childhood settings.
Presenters Meaghan Mckenna, Xigrid Soto-Boykin
Learner objectives 1. Identify key infrastructure components needed to support sustainable MTSS implementation in Pre-K settings.
2. Develop considerations for creating a professional learning plan that supports current and new staff knowledge, collaboration, and implementation capacity.
3. Identify effective meeting structures and protocols that support collaborative problem-solving and ongoing MTSS decision making.
4. Reflect on how to establish realistic expectations and phased implementation goals to support sustainable and manageable MTSS growth over time.
