October 27 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Location Online – at your computer
Time 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Registration 3:45 PM – 4:00 PM
Description
In MTSS, data-based decision making (DBDM) provides the infrastructure to support preschoolers’ unique learning, guide professional development, and inform strategic planning. In this session, participants will learn the types of assessments needed to monitor children’s progress across developmental domains. They also will learn how leaders, educators, parents, and others who are part of the team can collaborate together to interpret the data to set goals and adapt instruction, as well as practical ways of visualizing the data. Participants will also learn how to apply a cyclical problem-solving approach to ensure all preschoolers receive the instruction they need to thrive and meet their fullest potential. The session will also highlight how data can be used to guide instructional decision making and match children with appropriate supports across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 instruction and intervention.
Presenters Meaghan Mckenna, Xigrid Soto-Boykin
