Search for a parent community that offers education, support, and fellowship. You will have the opportunity to learn from other parents who have shared experiences about raising a child with special needs. Members can be a sounding board for helping you make key decisions or provide strategies for gaining access to certain services and programs.

When you are raising a child with developmental challenges, you may feel alone in your journey. That is why it is sometimes helpful to connect with other parents or families who can relate to your particular circumstances.
