Workshop Guidelines

All STAR NET webinars and workshops are free of charge.

Three different content levels for workshops are available to meet your professional and personal needs: Introductory, Skill-building and Challenge. Professionals and families in our elevan-county region are given priority registration.

Registration & Confirmation
Registration online does not guarantee your acceptance into the event.
Priority is given to:
Public school early childhood personnel living and working in the Region II and VI area who work with preschool age children with IEPs.
Family members of preschool age children with IEPs and live in the Region II and VI service area.
Remaining spots are filled os space permits.
About two to three weeks before the event, you will receive an email confirming your registration, notifying you of a waitlist, or informing you of cancellation.

Cancellations
To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or contact us at starnet2and6@cntrmail.org or 224-366-8579
Please cancel in a timely manner so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
Registrants who repeatedly fail to cancel will be given lower priority for future training.
Technology for Webinars
You will need a computer with speakers to hear the presentation, participate in conversation and polls.
Microphone, webcam, or phone are not required.
Webinars are interactive, and participation is expected.
Webinars may be recorded for later viewing.
Continuing Education Credit
Credit types (CPDU, CDA, CE, Gateways to Opportunity, etc.) will be listed in each workshop/webinar description.

After the event, you will receive a link to complete an evaluation.

Complete the evaluation within one week to receive your certificate.

Certificates will be emailed once evaluations are submitted.
Photos & Media
Photos may be taken at STAR NET events for promotion and outreach.

Your image may appear on STAR NET’s website, social media, or printed materials.
