FAMILY EVENT: From Start to Success: The Parent’s IEP Roadmap Part 3
December 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Because each installment is built to stand alone or be part of a series, we invite you to join us for one, two, or all three events!
This final session in the IEP Essentials series brings everything together to help parents and caregivers better understand how a strong, individualized IEP can support their child’s learning and success. We will explore how IEP teams work together to develop plans that address each child’s unique strengths and needs while supporting access to learning alongside their peers.
The session will also highlight the important role parents and caregivers play as members of the IEP team. Families will learn ways to participate meaningfully in IEP discussions, ask helpful questions, and collaborate with educators to identify appropriate goals, supports, and services for their child. Our goal is to help families feel informed, prepared, and confident as they work with their child’s educational team.
Please note that this session provides general educational information and is not intended as legal advice.
** PLEASE NOTE: No Professional Development Credit will be awarded for attending this event.
