This is a gathering for parents and family members of children who have, or are suspected of having, selective mutism. This condition is a childhood anxiety disorder where children can talk at home and in places they are comfortable, but are unable to talk and otherwise communicate in settings such as school, group care, and often other public settings as well. Family members are invited to join us for this online gathering to share questions and concerns about selective mutism as it impacts their child and family. STAR NET staff will facilitate the discussion.
