Investing in Early Childhood Special Education Professionals

STAR NET Region II and VI offers Professional Development Assistance to Early Childhood Special Education professionals to help cover the cost of attending workshops, seminars or conferences related to supporting children in early childhood special education. Up to $75 per individual per year is available until funds are exhausted. Funding is in the form of reimbursement for expenses.


Funds may be used to help cover:

  • Workshop, seminar, or conference registration fees
  • Related travel expenses

In addition to STAR NET Region II and VI’s financial assistance program for attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, other organizations offer funding opportunities through scholarships and stipends. You can apply online, or by submitting your application via mail.
