Description:
In this four part webinar series, participants will explore the anchor text: Universal Design for Learning in the Early Childhood Classroom (2nd edition), by Pamela Brillante & Karen Nameth (2022), and have the opportunity to discuss concepts and implementation strategies with colleagues in the field. The book focuses on proactively designing PreK through Grade 3 classroom instruction, environments, and assessments that are flexible enough to ensure that teachers can accommodate the needs of all the students in their inclusive classrooms, particularly students with disabilities.
Through discussion and group activities, participants will understand what is needed to operationalize UDL at their schools in order to meet the needs of all children in inclusive classroom environments, improving student outcomes for all.
Be prepared to discuss and reflect on the content during the webinars on January 27, Feburary 10, February 24, and March 10, 2027.
